Southeast Ministry’s Board of Directors, Staff, Learners and Friends would like to congratulate our Executive Director Valarie Ashley on being named a Washingtonian of the Year by Washingtonian Magazine. We are privileged to have such a wonderful spirit among us.

 

Southeast Ministry is a grass roots social justice ministry of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation that listens to the needs of the community and develops culturally sensitive education programs that address the root causes of social problems such as poverty, illiteracy and violence. 

Located in the heart of southeast Washington, Southeast Ministry annually provides education and employment services for approximately 700 low-income persons.
